Anacharis (Egeria najas) is a very popular, fast-growing plant that can thrive in nearly any aquarium. This bunched stem plant is comprised of thin stems with small, bright green leaves. Its offshoot stems grow from the sides of existing stems and can be cut and replanted to form a nearly endless colony of vibrant plants that will grow to the full height of the aquarium and beyond. It also provides valuable oxygen to all animal inhabitants of the aquarium. Anacharis does not form a significant root structure. We offer this plant in bunches of 4 to 8 stems that are anchored by a lead weight, which can be adjusted to fit the needs of any aquascape. This plant can also be used as a floating plants if the lead weight is removed. As a floating plants, it can provide shade for reclusive animals as well as plant that require lower light. It does not shed a great deal of leaves and it is much less messy than hornwort & many other floating plants.

* We guarantee live arrival on all of our livestock. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified within 24 hours. Keep in mind these plants just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and be at their best again. Please Take clear photos of the dead product and send it to us within 24 hours of receiving the item and once the item is validated by us we will send a replacement or refund minus the cost of shipping. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you.
* If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold, we highly recommend having the post office hold your mail for the estimated delivery day. This is a completely free option which can be requested online via www.usps.com or in person at your local post office. This way, your package will remain indoors, protected, and out of the elements for you to pick up once the package has arrived.
* We guarantee live arrival of all live stock. This means we assure that live stock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We are here to help but are not liable after you have received the livestock alive.

Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

If your plants arrive dead on arrival (DOA), we offer a replacement or store credit under the following conditions:

✅ Report the issue within 2 hours of delivery.
✅ Provide clear photos of the dead plants and packaging.
✅ Email info@aquaticplanthouse.com with your order number and a brief description.

Once verified, we will process a replacement or issue store credit within 2 business days.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Slight yellowing is normal due to lack of light during transit. Simply float your plants near a light source for 3 days to help them recover.
• The DOA policy is void if delivery is delayed due to incorrect shipping information or missed delivery attempts.
• Extreme weather conditions can affect plant health. Please check the forecast and choose a shipping window accordingly.
• Our policy does not cover plants that perish due to improper acclimation after arrival.
